Jeremy Petranka

Senior Associate Dean for Executive MBA and Quantitative Management Programs and Associate Professor of the Practice

Dr. Jeremy Petranka is the Senior Associate Dean of the Executive MBA and Quantitative Management programs and an Associate Professor of the Practice in the Fuqua School of Business.  Jeremy's teaching experience spans multiple domains including strategy, leadership, economics, entrepreneurship, and structural institutions. He has received teaching awards for multiple courses across four programs at Fuqua, and been named a Poets & Quants "Best 40 Under 40" and "Favorite MBA Professor". Dr. Petranka received his Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from Virginia Tech and his Ph.D. in Economics from the University of North Carolina. Prior to his career in academia, he worked as a management consultant, working with Fortune 500 companies to align their information technology with their business strategies, focusing heavily on the role of data within the organizations.
