Duke Cyber Student Club

The Duke Cyber Club is a student-led hub for all things related to cybersecurity and technology on campus. They organize various events and activities:

 

  • Cyber Movie Night. All Duke students, especially first-years, are invited to join informal, student-led discussions on movies exploring cyber topics.

  • CS Sidekicks: Sidekicks is a non-profit organization that provides innovative computer science curricula to historically underserved students in Durham Public Schools.
  • Duke Cyber Blog: If you’re interested in exploring a cyber topic and getting published, you can write for the Duke Cyber Blog.
  • Duke Co-Lab Roots offers free sessions in its new systems & security track, covering topics like information security threats, ethical hacking, and security threat detection and prevention.

  • National Cyber League (NCL): Duke’s Computer Science team has participated in the NCL, a collegiate cybersecurity competition open to high school and college students.
